    • Marsh Landing Country Club – Ponte Vedra Beach, Florida

From a recent Bloomberg article, December 18, 2018 written by Reade Pickert, Jonathan Levin, and Hannah Recht, Marsh Landing, “a gated community in Ponte Vedra Beach…had a 20 % concentration of the wealthiest Americans. Now some 56 % of households there maker $200,000 or more. ”

Marsh Landing’s striking wooded areas, parks, lush marshlands, and intra-coastal access sets this community apart from other areas of Ponte Vedra Beach.  Marsh Landing’s founders kept the preservation of the natural habitat at the top of their minds when they designed the 1,000+ home sites spread throughout 1,700 acres.

Marsh Landing is located in the northern portion of Ponte Vedra Beach, west of A1A and south of J Turner Butler Boulevard (JTB) where St. Johns and Duval counties meet.  Entry is via either of two gates with security guards: one from a private exit off JTB, and the other off Solana Road across from an entrance to the Sawgrass Players Club. This affords residents the benefits of luxurious tranquility while being only minutes away from multiple stores and restaurants, and a short commute to Jacksonville.

Many Marsh Landing homes feature spectacular views of lakes, lagoons, nature preserves, the intracoastal, and/or a golf course.  This community provides numerous opportunities for water sports – fishing, boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, and so on.  Homes sell for prices ranging from $800,000, up to $2,000,000 or more for regal estates.

The Marsh Landing Country Club offers an 18-hole Ed Seay designed championship golf course, a golf pro-shop, 10 Har-Tru tennis courts, and a tennis pro-shop.  Club members also enjoy the swimming pool, fitness center, and fine dining.  Club membership is optional for homeowners.  Membership in the master homeowners association is required, and some communities also require membership in a sub-association.  Homeowner fees vary from neighborhood to neighborhood so be sure to check on those fees when purchasing your next home.
